We are thrilled to have as our special guest Colin Law, Executive Manager at Commonwealth Bank. Col has been instrumental in supporting Gen Collective since its beginnings. We hope you will enjoy his reflections on the year that was 2016.
Bolton Street Pantry is a place to meet and relax. It is a place to sit and work. It is a place to socialize, celebrate, gossip and laugh. The Pantry is built on the philosophy of creating experiences for the people of Newcastle and our visitors through quality produce, products and people. This is done humbly with passion and skill.
In the spirit of giving
Gen Collective would also like to invite our guests to consider the work of the Samaritans Foundation in Newcastle. At Christmas time the organisation runs Samaritans Christmas Assistance. Local businesses put up Christmas Trees in the lead up to Christmas where people can leave donated Christmas presents. These gifts then go to Samaritans Christmas Assistance where families, who cannot afford to purchase Christmas presents for their children, are invited to visit and select free toys. Last year over 75 organizations and community groups set up a Giving Tree for toy donations!
Gen Collective will have a Giving Tree available for our guests to leave their donation towards this amazing appeal. Ideas for gifts? Samaritans needs gift for boys, girls, teenager and adults. Along with the Giving Tree, Gen Collective will be selling tickets ($5 each) for our Christmas raffle with all proceeds to the Samaritans Foundation.
