Launching Level Up, Gen Collective’s inaugural conference!

This year we are raising the bar and bringing to our business community our first major professional development conference with all the trimmings.

In partnership with PKF, we are are thrilled to announce a one-day conference event that we hope will encourage, uplift, motivate and inspire, without the demands of a grinding long-term commitment!

Please join us for an incredible day of stimulating conversation, inspirational presentations, and real-time take aways that we hope will amplify your professional and personal relationships.

    Optional extra: return Bus transfer from Hunter stadium (departing 7.30am) | $30 return.*

Ruby Marsh

Ruby Marsh is an unshakable optimist, Architect and a small business advocate. 

After leaving the architecture world, she spent 5 years with lululemon - coaching, training and helping teams leverage their best talent in store. During this period, she co-owned two businesses in the retail and wellness industries with her husband John. 

In 2021 they went all in and launched a business coaching membership and community for coaches and creative business owners. Since then, they’ve worked with more than 60 small businesses from around the world. 

Their mission is to give small business owners the tools to build addictive worlds (that their clients never want to leave), share offers they love and make money, without the hype.  

Ruby is also a passionate speaker and host of the True To You podcast.

Alison Shamir

Alison Shamir is an Imposter Syndrome & Confidence Expert, Coach, Speaker & former Technology Leader. 

Her work is featured regularly in the Media & Alison empowers global audiences with the knowledge, tools and methods grounded in science they need to build unshakeable Confidence, overcome Imposter Syndrome and achieve the success they desire & deserve. 

A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Alison is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, is an Associate of the Impostor Syndrome Institute and is on the Board of Directors of a Marketing Technology Company. She combines both lived experience and professional expertise to help her clients make transformative change.

Kristy Coady & Rebecca Geraghty

Kristy Coady is founder and creative director overseeing and contributing to all projects at Design Bug and sister business, Swell Magazine. 

A perfectionist at heart, Kristy keeps both our office and projects in-check. A typical day for Kristy can include everything from client communication, project management, strategising and overseeing design projects, directing photoshoots, creating the pages of Swell Magazine and making sure there is adequate coffee and snacks at all times.

Rebecca Geraghty (Bec) is our all-rounder. She wears multiple hats (and wears them well) including chief web designer, creative director and marketing ideas extraordinaire. She’s a problem solver, knows how to “talk-geek” with our technical providers and translate it into plain english. Bec’s calming presence and dry sense of humour rounds out the team perfectly. She can sum up any scenario with the perfect gif in expert time – it’s a real skill.

Alissa McCulloch

Alissa McCulloch is the founder and director of HUNTERhunter which she established in 2013.

Starting out as a late night and weekend side hustle, HUNTERhunter has morphed into what is today Newcastle’s most comprehensive digital city guide.

Christina Gerakiteys

Christina Gerakiteys is on a mission to enable the enablers and to empower and inspire leaders to converge minds, technology and fields, to have maximum impact and solve humanity's grand challenges. She believes the key to the future is to open hearts and minds, shifting impossible to possible, and to strategize ideation to execution. 

Christina is an advisor for innovation committees, is a member of the Hunter Medical Research Foundation Board, Scaleup Hub & Tech Central Precinct Ambassador, produced the annual Hunter Innovation Festival, and lectures in Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is a lifelong learner, undertaking doctorate studies in Creativity and Innovation.

Estelle du Plooy

Estelle du Plooy is a registered Clinical Nutritionist with a focus on Longevity and Healthy Ageing. Four crucial aspects underpin healthy ageing: sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress management. She guides her clients to improve their health through personalised changes. Estelle is passionate about the role that exercise and stress management play in well-being. 

Estelle teaches breath retraining for individuals to manage stress and improve sleep.

She is passionate about exercise and is forever trying to find enough time to pursue all her interest including strength and conditioning, cycling, swimming and the occasional surfing.
