Katy Gray
NDIS Senior Support Coordinator at IPN Medical Centres
I moved to Australia from Fiji over a decade ago with the goal of learning how to surf, though I still haven't mastered it. My priorities have shifted now that I have a young family. In Fiji, I served as a Community Health Empowerment volunteer with the US Peace Corps for two years. I am now a dual citizen of the US and Australia, passionate about social welfare. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University and am currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Newcastle, which I believe will enhance my ability to make a meaningful impact in my field.
As a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Senior Support Coordinator for IPN's Disability Support Services division, I work with a team of experts dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized support for individuals with disabilities. We aim to foster independence, promote progress, and create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for those we support.
Since 2022, I have also been a committee member of the Newcastle Toy Library, a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization focused on creating accessible resources for families while reducing the environmental impact of consumerism. As a parent, this mission is especially important to me, and I am committed to leaving the world in a better place for future generations.
