What a day! Our 8th annual International Women’s Day Luncheon was truly an event to remember. With a packed venue, an electrifying atmosphere, and an inspiring message at its core, we came together to celebrate women, uplift one another, and reinforce our commitment to gender equality.
This year, we were beyond honoured to welcome the incredible Lisa Wilkinson as our special guest. A Member of the Order of Australia, multi-Walkley-award-nominated, and Logie-award-winning journalist, Lisa has been a trusted voice in Australian media for over four decades. She captivated the audience with her speech, sharing personal stories, insights from her remarkable career, and a powerful message about equality, resilience, and the strength of community. With humour, authenticity, and wisdom, Lisa reminded us that we are enough—just as we are.

Giving Back: Over $30,000 Raised for Got Your Back Sista
One of the most incredible outcomes of this event was the overwhelming generosity of our attendees. Through ticket sales, donations, and the unwavering support of The MacDougall Foundation, we raised over $30,000 for Got Your Back Sista, a charity dedicated to supporting women affected by domestic violence. This contribution will go a long way in providing resources, education, and empowerment for those in need. Thank you for standing with us in this important mission.
